That one student...

There is ALWAYS going to be that one student. No matter how many years you've been teaching you will always have that one student who doesn't want to participate. They will sit on their mat sometimes quiet, and sometimes not. They will distract you and your class. They will probably make you want to pull your hair out at some point. They will do all this AND they still need love.
Often it is these students who need the most love and kindness during our classes. It's up to us to chose how we react to them. When it is hard, take a deep breath, channel all of your patience, and choose love. These students need to know that in our classes they are safe and cared for and loved.
The beauty of yoga is that it can be just that: safety and love❤️
